Abstract
Since the development of the human papillomavirus vaccine, many countries have created implementation programs to bolster vaccination rates and protect their populations. Despite demonstrated efficacy with decreased human papillomavirus-related disease abroad, the vaccine's potential to prevent morbidity and mortality in the United States is not being met. The purpose of this review is to discuss strategies of both international and domestic vaccination programs, their impact on human papillomavirus-related diseases, the unique obstacles faced by the United States, and future directions for success.Entities:
