Abstract
Sulfasalazine has been reported to induce pulmonary eosinophilia and hypersensitivity with symptoms of dyspnea and fever. We present the results of bronchoalveolar lavage in a patient with acute sulfasalazine-induced hypersensitivity pneumonitis. The lavage specimen showed a significant influx of eosinophils.Entities:
