Abstract
As increasing numbers of patients of African descent seek treatment for hair and scalp-related diseases, it is imperative that all dermatologists be adequately trained to address the concerns of this patient population. We present must-know information to effectively approach the concerns of patients with seborrheic dermatitis, acquired trichorrhexis nodosa, acne keloidalis nuchae, pseudofolliculitis barbae, alopecia, and common pediatric hair and scalp disorders.Entities:
