Abstract
Acute abdominal pain is a common presenting complaint in the emergency department. Increasingly, computed tomography is utilized for evaluating these patients. Radiologists are therefore expected to be familiar with the pertinent clinical and radiologic information related to acute bowel pathology. This primer will review the need-to-know and latest updates related to computed tomography evaluation of acute bowel pathology.Entities:
