(Molecular Cell 57, 622–635; February 19, 2015) It has come to our attention that in the above article, the Figures 3G and 6I as well as the legends for these figures had indicated the lagging and leading strands incorrectly. The green label should be marked as the lagging strand and the red label should be marked as the leading strand. In addition, the second sentence in the last paragraph of the results was inadvertently written as “Inactivation of TRF2 in TRF2 MEFs complemented with Myc-TRF2I124D resulted in a greater than 5-fold induction in the frequency of T-SCEs with preferential addition of lagging telomere DNA when compared with cells expressing WT Myc-TRF2 (Figure 6I)” and should read “Inactivation of TRF2 in TRF2 MEFs complemented with Myc-TRF2I124D resulted in a greater than 5-fold induction in the frequency of T-SCEs with preferential addition of leading telomere DNA when compared with cells expressing WT Myc-TRF2 (Figure 6I).” This correction does not affect the description of the results in the article or the conclusions of our study. The authors regret this error, which has been corrected in the online version.
