Abstract
The surgical management of life-threatening perioperative hemoptysis has been vastly replaced by radiologic embolization. In some situations, surgical therapy can prove useful. This case report describes life-threatening hemoptysis of an unusual cause during coronary artery bypass grafting, managed through an original technique of temporary pulmonary vascular exclusion by thoracotomy.Mesh:
