Abstract
In spite of the emergence of non-pharmacological approaches, medical therapy remains the primary modality of treatment for most patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). This review will look at evidence for rate and rhythm control approaches, and at factors that would help in choosing the appropriate treatment strategy for individual patients.Entities:
