Abstract
Chylous ascites, defined as a lipid-rich fluid accumulation in the peritoneal cavity, is a rare pathology of the lymphatic system and is a very rare cause of acute abdomen. It is generally associated with diseases such as cancer, cirrhosis, inflammatory diseases, surgery, or trauma. In this study, we report a patient with chylous ascites, which mimics acute appendicitis. Diagnosis and treatment procedures were discussed.Entities:
