A Common Clinical Dilemma: Management of Persistent hrHPV Infection.

Yifan Meng1, Ding Ma2, Peng Wu3.

Abstract

Persistent infection with high-risk human papillomavirus (hrHPV) is a key step in the development of cervical cancer. However, making clinical decisions about how to deal with these cases has become a challenge for obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn) practitioners. Here, we review the latest research findings and propose possible solutions for the management of persistent hrHPV infections.
