Abstract
Vascular calcification is common in patients with advanced kidney disease, and has been strongly linked to cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in the general population. Recent clinical and translational studies demonstrate that vascular calcification is also associated with cardiovascular morbidity in the setting of chronic kidney disease, and that once established, may persist even when kidney function is restored.Entities:
