Abstract
Parkinsonism has been reported as a complication of a ventriculoperitoneal shunt (VPS) or clinical symptoms of chronic subdural haematoma (CSDH). We report an interesting case of parkinsonism in a patient with CSDH secondary to placement of a VPS for obstructive hydrocephalus, and we discuss the possible pathophysiological mechanisms and treatment.Entities:
