Diane L Spatz1. 1. Diane L. Spatz is a Professor of Perinatal Nursing & the Helen M. Shearer Professor of Nutrition at the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a joint appointment with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) where she is a nurse researcher and director of the lactation program. She is also the Clinical Coordinator of CHOP's Mothers' Milk Bank. Dr. Spatz is the Immediate Past-Chair of the American Academy of Nursing's Expert Panel on Breastfeeding and an Editorial Board Member of MCN.
