Abstract
Sinus of Valsalva aneurysm (SVA) is a rare cardiac anomaly, which mostly occurs in the right or noncoronary sinus of Valsalva. Left sinus of Valsava is infrequent. Unruptured SVAs are usually asymptomatic, and the diagnosis of unruptured SVA is usually accidental. A giant unruptured SVA may compress the coronary artery and cause myocardial infarction. Here, we report a rare case of a 50-year-old patient with unruptured giant left SVA causing occlusion of the left anterior descending coronary artery, which was successfully managed with our apparently unique surgical procedure.Entities:
