Abstract
Oxytocin (0.1-10 nM) caused reproducible, dose-related contractions of the male mouse anococcygeus. Desensitization was not a major problem. The muscle was shown to be a useful oxytocin bioassay preparation, having a good index of precision (0.04).Entities:
