Abstract
A 48-year-old female patient presented to the ENT department of the University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz with subfebrile temperatures, one-sided nasal obstruction, and left-sided cephalgia. Clinical examination and CT scans showed a mass occupying the left nasal cavity and left paranasal sinuses. Further diagnosis and histopathological examination showed an HIV-associated plasmablastic lymphoma of the left paranasal sinuses. This case report with literature review discusses the diagnosis and treatment of this rare nasal tumor.Entities:
