Abstract
BACKGROUND: Girls at early stages of adolescence are vulnerable to violence victimization in humanitarian contexts, but few studies examine factors that affect girls' hope in these settings. We assessed attitudes toward traditional gender norms as an effect modifier of the relationship between violence exposure and future orientation in displaced girls.Entities:

Adjusted for age, education status, and district.
Since the interaction term did not significantly modify the relationship between coerced sex and hope in the unadjusted model, these forms of violence were excluded from analysis in the adjusted model.
Girls age 13–14 only. Adjusted for living with intimate partner in addition to age and education status.
