Abstract
Systematic treatment of adult-type soft tissue sarcoma is evolving. Its role in the neoadjuvant setting is currently experimental, whereas the data on adjuvant chemotherapy are inconclusive. Nevertheless, in clinical practice, neoadjuvant and adjuvant chemotherapy may be considered on an individual basis after multidisciplinary discussion. Systemic therapy has a well-established role in the management of locally advanced and metastatic disease and histology-based treatment approaches are being studied. CrownEntities:
