Abstract
A photoactive NO releasing system was constructed by incorporation of NO-bound Fe-S clusters into horse spleen apoferritin cavities with high loading efficacy. The composites retained intact core-shell structure and indicated advantages such as enhanced stability, reduced cytotoxicity, efficient cellular uptake, and photocontrolled NO releasing property.Entities:
