Abstract
We report a case of an infant with a post-necrotizing enterocolitis stenosis, resolved with operative measures. The histologic finding of Cytomegalovirus in the resected sigmoid colon rise the question if the intestinal stricture was the proper consequence of a primary enteric viral infection or a superinfection in a transitory immunodeficiency after the acute phase of necrotizing enterocolitis.Entities:
