Using a backward selection process, LDL cholesterol was removed from the first model; here are presented results of the second (final) model, with R2 = 0.502, adjusted R2 = 0.441; p < 0.0001.
All these variables had a p < 0.25 in univariable analyses and were thus introduced in the initial multivariable model.
