Abstract
Placenta accreta is a rare complication of pregnancy which contributes significantly to maternal morbidity and mortality. Five cases are presented which illustrate different modes of presentation and problems of management; one of the patients (with placenta praevia accreta) died following Caesarean section and subtotal hysterectomy.Entities:
