Abstract
Dilated cardiomyopathy with decreased contractility of left or both ventricles impose a serious risk to patient posted for major surgery. Even after best medical optimization, careful perioperative management with risk and benefit of general and regional anesthesia should be discussed beforehand. We here reporting a case of successful management of a patient with dilated cardiomyopathy with ejection fraction of 15% posted for renal transplant surgery under graded epidural anesthesia.Entities:
