Abstract
Quantitative Tc-99m pertechnetate thyroid imaging was performed on a hypothyroid neonate. The image revealed markedly increased trapping in an enlarged, bilobed, eutopic gland. A perchlorate washout test using quantitative imaging with I-123 confirmed an organification problem.Entities:
