Editorial Commentary: Is It the Osteotomy That Is Causing the Development of Patellofemoral Osteoarthritis or Is It the Normal Progression of Preexisting Osteoarthritis?

Opening wedge proximal tibial osteotomy may negatively affect the International Cartilage Research Society grade of the patellofemoral joint articular cartilage at short-term follow-up, but more study is required on this possible relation.
