Abstract
Pertussis vaccination in pregnancy has been introduced by several national advisory bodies, mostly in industrialized countries, as a means to protect young infants from disease by high titers of maternal antibodies. Most recommendations derive from epidemiological needs, but many knowledge gaps remained after implementation. This report aims to overview the solved and unsolved aspects of prenatal vaccination with a pertussis containing vaccine.Entities:
