[Roosting time of starlings].

Roosting times of starlings in Schleswig-Holstein (Northern Germany) are closely correlated with sunrise and sunset. A close examination reveals that in autumn the activity time is shorter than under identical photoperiods in spring. Similar results were published by HAARHAUS, who studied starlings during their nesting time.
