Effect of testosterone on the division of phytohaemagglutinin stimulated human lymphocytesin vitro.

J Timson1.

Abstract

It is shown that at relatively high concentrations testosterone will depress the rate of mitosis in phytohaemagglutinin-stimulated human lymphocytes culturedin vitro. Therapeutic doses seem unlikely to cause this effect.
