Scleral Autograft for Optic Nerve Head Pit Associated Chronic Maculopathy.

Parag K Shah, Smita S Karandikar, Venkatapathy Narendran.

Abstract

Chronic macular edema is a common finding seen in optic nerve head pits. There is no universally accepted modality present for this condition. Herein, the authors describe a novel surgical technique where a scleral autograft is used to plug the optic pit after microincision vitreous surgery.
