Abstract
This report describes the first documented case (to our knowledge) of a myoepithelioma occurring in the lung. The neoplasm showed histologic features identical to those described in myoepitheliomas of major and minor salivary glands. The histologic diagnosis was confirmed ultrastructurally by the presence of longitudinal cytoplasmic bundles of 6-nm myofilaments and was supported immunologically by the expression of S100 protein.Entities:
