Both fatigue and depression severity declined significantly at week 4, p<0.01 using Wilcoxon signed-rank test.
All cytokines had statistically significant decrease from baseline to week 4, p<0.01 using Wilcoxon signed-rank test.
Number of patients with decrease in cytokine was defined as 100×(number of patients with any amount of decrease in levels of cytokine divided by all patients with cytokine data at both visits). The percentage was lowest for IL-1Ra (p<0.001 comparing IL-1Ra with other cytokines using Fisher’s exact test).
