Abstract
After a violent blow with the first into the face with fracture of the zygomatic bone, there was traumatic rupture of the only rudimentary anterior communicating artery owing to a rotation movement of the head. This resulted in fatal subarachnoid hemorrhage. Aneurysms and pathological wall lesions were not present. The appreciable alcoholization may have led to a reduction of the reflex functions of the head.Entities:
