Abstract
Limiting blood loss is a primary concern in hepatic resection. Torrential hemorrhage occasionally occurs and is often related to loss of control or injury to the hepatic veins or vena cava. Stapling devices, carefully applied, are presented as a safe and expedient means for controlling hepatic veins within the hepatic parenchyma.Entities:
