Resection of proximal bile duct cancer. Involving hepatic artery with five-year survival.

A case of primary bile duct cancer encasing the hepatic artery is presented. Resection of the tumor and involved duodenum with postoperative radiotherapy was followed by a five-year survival with no evidence of disease.
