The article entitield, “Ultrafast Mid-IR Laser Scalpel; Approaching to Scar-less Surgery”, which was published in pages 260-263, Issue 4, Vol. 1 of International Journal of Preventive Medicine[1], is being retracted because the concerned article is a summary of a previously published work from the same author that was published as an original investigation in e13053, Issue 9, Vol. 5 of PLoS One[2]. The author submitted the summary of the previous published investigation for educational purpose in response to invitation from the journal for submitting “a summary of achievement”, however due to technical errors, it resulted in duplicity of publication as a fresh investigation. The author upon discovering the same have requested for the retraction of the concerned article.
