Abstract
Isolated medial rectus palsy due to mesencephalon lesion is extremely rare. We here describe a patient of midbrain infarction involving the medial rectus subnuclei presenting as isolated medial rectus palsy. Axial diffusion-weighted and coronal T2-weighted magnetic resonance imaging showed acute ischemic lesion in mesencephalon.Entities:
