Abstract
Amiodarone hydrochloride, an iodinated benzofuran derivative, is effective for treatment of supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias. Pulmonary fibrosis has been reported after treatment with this drug. We present a patient with amiodarone pulmonary toxicity, who initially responded to corticosteroid therapy, but who developed a clinical relapse two months after withdrawal of the drug.Entities:
