Demographic characteristics of the patients
Values are presented as number (%) or mean±standard deviation. The sum of the percentages does not equal 100% because of rounding. ASA = American Society of Anesthesiologist; TNM = tumor node metastasis. *Classification according to the American Joint Committee on Cancer 7th edition. †Open & close, bypass surgery, palliative total gastrectomy.
Surgical outcomes in patients who underwent curative resection
Values are presented as mean±standard deviation or number (%).
Postoperative complications in patients who underwent curative resection
Values are presented as number (%) or number only. PRC = packed red blood cells. *Clavien-Dindo classification grade 3 or above.
Multivariate logistic regression results for complications
OR = odds ratio; CI = confidence interval; ASA = American Society of Anesthesiologist; STG = subtotal gastrectomy; TG = total gastrectomy.
