Howard K Koh1, James J O'Connell2. 1. Howard K. Koh, MD, MPH, is the Harvey V. Fineberg professor of the practice of public health leadership at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health and the Harvard Kennedy School. He is also the former Massachusetts commissioner of public health and the 14th assistant secretary for health for the US Department of Health and Human Services. A quadruple-boarded physician, Dr Koh has published more than 250 articles in medical and public health literature, earned more than 70 awards for interdisciplinary achievements in public health, and received 5 honorary doctorate degrees. 2. James J. O'Connell, MD, has received degrees from the University of Notre Dame, Cambridge University, and Harvard Medical School, where he is an assistant professor of medicine. He is the founding physician and president of Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program and author of the book Stories From the Shadows: Reflections of a Street Doctor.
