Abstract
Galeazzi fracture in skeletally immature patients is a relatively uncommon injury. No previously published case has been associated with an iatrogenic mechanism. Here, we report a case of a 10-year-old boy with a minimally displaced distal radius fracture evolving into a Galeazzi lesion after unnecessary surgical treatment. Unnecessary surgical procedure associated with poor knowledge of bone growth and physiology contributed significantly to the reported condition.Entities:
