The importance of accurate records and follow-up in patients with oral cancer.

A standardized patient record sheet is proposed to be used for all patients diagnosed as having oral squamous cell cancer. Such records would ensure thorough data recording and whilst providing accurate and complete information for retrospective and prospective analysis and research would also improve the follow up of such patients.
