Abstract
A reliable radiographic limb length measurement is necessary for evaluating and treating discrepancies in limb length, a most difficult problem in pediatric orthopedics. The accuracy and efficiency of conventional orthoroentgenography was compared to that of computerized tomographic (CT) scanography in 17 patients. There was no significant difference in measurements between the techniques. CT scanography with a 66% reduction in radiation dose is now our routine examination for leg length discrepancy.Entities:
