Abstract
As our case indicates, it should be kept in mind that calcification, though unusual, does occur in acoustic neuromas. The statistical tendency of acoustic neuroma and meningioma to have different signal characteristics on magnetic resonance imaging may make MRI useful in increasing specificity in preoperative diagnosis.Entities:
