Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Tension-free mesh repair is a widely used hernioplasty technique. However, mesh migration is a severe complication that may induce colon inflammation or perforation and can occur several months to several years following hernioplasty. CASE REPORT: We present a case where mesh migrated into the sigmoid colon 12 years postoperation and was mistaken for a colon tumor.Entities:
