Abstract
1) CROM reduced hypoxia-induced pulmonary vasoconstriction and maintained PaO2 with an increase in cardiac output. 2) Low doses of CROM infused into the kidney caused pronounced renal vasodilation, marked natriuresis and a significant increase in cardiac output with minor changes in blood pressure. In addition to its previously described systemic antihypertensive effects, CROM also reduces hypoxia-induced pulmonary hypertension and shows marked renal vasodilation with natriuresis in anaesthetized dogs.Entities:
