Abstract
Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the primary cause of death worldwide. Nevertheless, while mortality rates have decreased over the last decades in high-income countries, in many low- and middle-income countries, the situation is just the opposite. Thus, the utilization of the more rational approach to diagnose, risk-stratify, and guide cost-effective management in these patients is of utmost importance in a setting of limited financial resources. Topics such as function versus anatomy with the focus on prognosis in stable CAD patients, as well as future perspectives on noninvasive techniques, will be addressed.Entities:
