Abstract
Imbalances in the gut microbiota contribute to chronic gut inflammatory diseases. Interestingly, exercise can improve gut health, but generally, little is known about the underlying mechanisms involved. This article represents a conceptual model illustrating exercise's role in diversifying the gut microbiota to improve gut and systemic health.Mesh:
