Diane L Spatz1. 1. Dr. Spatz is a Professor of Perinatal Nursing & the Helen M. Shearer Professor of Nutrition at the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a joint appointment with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) where she is a nurse researcher and director of the lactation program. She is also the director of CHOP's Mothers' Milk Bank. Dr. Spatz is the Chair of the American Academy of Nursing's Expert Panel on Breastfeeding and an Editorial Board Member of MCN.
