Abstract
A prospective study of the relationship between exacerbations and season in 336 patients with clinically definite multiple sclerosis showed a significant monthly variation as well as a seasonal pattern of exacerbations. The data obtained are compared with earlier studies that have used varying methodologies. The results continue to support the hypothesis that undefined environmental factors influence the course of multiple sclerosis.Entities:
