Anita Basavaraj1, Manasi Kadam2, D B Kadam3.

Abstract

Classically, the HIV/AIDS-related lymphomas are of the B cell type and involve the central nervous system and the abdominal cavity. Primary maxillary sinus lymphoma is rare. Plasmablastic lymphoma (PBL) is an aggressive form of non-Hodgkinvs lymphoma, and is extremely rare. Here we present a case of plasmablastic lymphoma with primary site being maxillary sinus, a rare location. © Journal of the Association of Physicians of India 2011.
