Congenital hypoplastic anemia terminating in acute promyelocytic leukemia.

Abstract

Acute promyelocytic leukemia developed in a patient with congenital hypoplastic anemia (CHA). The patient had Turner's phenotype, but no chromosomal abnormality. The literature on CHA is briefly reviewed, and the relationship between leukemia and cytotoxic therapy is considered.
